Since these hard hats are made of fiberglass, they can withstand temperatures that standard plastic cannot. These particular helmets come with a ratchet suspension, so you can make quick adjustments and get an optimal fit. The Skullgard™ hard hats also meet the ANSI requirements for Type I helmets.

   Texas America Safety Company has found a large cache of the old style MSA Fas-Trac II suspensions.  These suspensions are preferred by many MSA Skullgard hard hat users.  We only have the size Medium suspensions available.

  This is a brand new MSA Fas-Trac II replacement suspension to be used with the MSA Skullgard Full Brim or Cap Style hard hats. We have found a limitedstock on these harnesses and when they are sold out, they are gone for good.

Although they provide exceptional protection against high-heat environments, they can also protect your head from top impacts. Each Skullgard™ hard hat can withstand temperatures that don't exceed 350 degrees Fahrenheit. The smooth crown design is stylish and functional.
