| The GLO-MEGA Omega II™ full brim safety helmets with ratchet suspension are almost identical to our cap style helmets, but the major difference is that these helmets feature a full brim design. They feature the same easy-to-use ratchet suspension and don’t take much time to adjust. |
Unlike the cap style hats, the full brim on these helmets gives the wearer greater protection against falling objects and bothersome weather conditions. For example, the full brim delivers unbeatable protection against rain and prevents bright glare from hitting your eyes.
The 6-point ratchet suspension is adjustable and comfortable, and during an impact, it transfers impact energy across six different points.
Once these hats have been charged for a small amount of time, they’ll glow in the dark for up to 48 hours. You can use a simple light source to charge them, and the green glow significantly increases visibility in low-light conditions. These hats are great for workers who spend a lot of time working in dark environments.

I have just purchased my 2nd full brim glow in the dark omega, just doesn't seem to glow as long as before and I broke it (more on that later)
It's been 8 long hard year's in the arctic oilfields of Alaska to the Marshall islands.
I love this hardhat but couldn't bring myself to a full 5 star's due to the Chintzy ratchet of the suspension.
The first one lasted well but suspension is supposed to be replaced every year "according to the safety department" the first replacement lasted for about a week and stripped out internally, others haven't made it through a hitch some not the day. Texas America was quick to send out a new replacement without any struggle. (The one time I actually complained about it,Thank you for that)
I got the bright idea to switch the suspension to another brand that would be more durable and in the process of the "fitting" of said suspension I sadly cracked my old faithful brain bucket.
I have decided to purchase the same product again but with a few replacement suspensions to have on hand.
